I hope that you have an amazing birthday, and I just wanted to make you this page of your fans wishing you a happy birthday to show you how much your fans adore you, and how much you deserve it! I love you so much Joy, you are such an inspirational woman. I can never go a day without listening to your music or watching your acting, you’re so talented it’s unbelievable. You always play your characters so well and manage to have me in tear throughout your performances whether they are sad or even happy. Although I am very upset that One Tree Hill is ending I am very excited to see what you do next, in acting, in music and all of your other projects! It would be my dream to meet you and watch you sing live, so fingers crossed that you’ll tour in England someday! Dear Joy,
Happy birthday! I hope that your day is filled with love and happiness! I cannot adequately describe my love for you as a person, an actress, and a musician as there are not enough words to manifest the impact that you have had on my life! You are truly an inspiration to me. As my heart becomes heavier with the series finale of One Tree Hill ever so steadily approaching in just 2 days, I feel nostalgic about the great moments that you have given to us, the fans, throughout these 9 years. I did not begin watching the show until a while after it aired, but my favorite character immediately became ‘Haley.’ You have grown so much over the years as an actress, and I can wholeheartedly say that you are one of the most underrated actresses in the world! Your presence is staggering, and you have such an amazing ability to portray every emotion, and have everyone feel it in their own bodies. You have effortlessly taken on every emotion and situation that has been handed to you throughout the years on the show, and there has not been a time where I can say that you have disappointed any of us. Your work is deserving of every Emmy Award that exists, because you truly are the best. You are constantly seeking to help others and not just yourself, and it is because of you that I have researched and looked into volunteering opportunities for organizations such as ‘Love146’, and ‘To Write Love On Her Arms.’ (I am still in need for some tips to know how I can volunteer from my community!) Your music has touched my heart and has helped me on so many occasions. From the first time I heard your voice on the show, I immediately went ahead and purchased all of your other songs. Your voice gives me goosebumps be it the first or sixtieth time that I hear a certain song of yours. Some musicians simply possess this inherent talent to sing from the soul and merely captivate all that are listening, and you have attained that and far more. You have such a fluent nature to your persona as an artist and it is manifested by your ability to connect to others through your music. Just a single song leaves me in tears, as the melody effortlessly couples with the lyrics and it helps me feel like I have a personal relationship with you. That is a unique talent that all musicians yearn to posses, and you have it. You literally proved to us all that you could do anything and everything better than us! The second I saw the DiamondGothic project beginning, I was so excited to see what would become of it. After reading the chapter you wrote, I must say I was not surprised at how stunning your writing is! Your writing is so eloquent and poignant that I wish I could have your writing skills! It is honestly baffling to see how you have matured and blossomed from the young girl who began as a quirky tutor girl on the show, to the mother you have become to this day, both on the show and off. I always was mesmerized by your ability to connect with Jackson and give the show such a familial feel. It warms my heart to see your relationship with your daughter, Maria, as well. Your personality is alluring, and I can’t help but think of how strongly you truly resemble Haley. You are kind, intelligent, witty, quirky, and I love that you are such a vintage gal. There aren’t many people like you today! You have made me fall in love with vintage-y things and clothing, and every time I see something vintage or perhaps 1920’s inspired, I immediately think—Oh my god, Joy would totally love this. I need to tweet it to her! I think that is a huge reason why you are so relatable to so may people, and why your fan base is so large and attentive. Your easygoing yet profound personality eases many and helps us feel like you are simply just like any of us. You have overcome all of your struggles with grace and it is just another one of your admirable qualities. Needless to say, my tears will not stop flowing Wednesday night, as I will be lamenting the loss of this amazing show in my life for a while. I only wish for you to succeed in your future endeavors, and I am sure that we will be seeing you a lot in the years to come! I feel tears prickling at my eyes, threatening to spill as I think about the finality of it all, after having taken such comfort with this show that has given me hope, and wisdom, joy and sorrow, and taught me lessons of life that I will forever cherish. However, I do feel better as I realize that I can still see you in future projects, or simply keep up with you on Twitter or your blog, and know that it’s not truly over in that sense! You know, it’s been two years since the first time I’ve seen you on screen and from that day on you never stopped inspiring me and teaching me so many things.

Being a teen-ager - especially these days - is not easy at all. I love reading old classic novels, receiving handwritten letters, daydreaming and being myself.
